Parkway offers a variety of programs for people of all ages.
“The purpose of Presbyterian Men is to promote the Kingdom of God worldwide by encouraging men to serve Jesus Christ in the work of the church and to follow him in the vocations of life.” This is the mission statement of the National Council of Presbyterian Men, Presbyterian Church (USA), from which the Parkway Men’s group received its charter in November 1995.
The mission of Parkway Presbyterian Women is to build a caring community of women in our church through prayer, Bible study, service and fellowship. We have four circles that meet monthly September through May and at least two additional gatherings each year that bring all Parkway women together for a meal and program or weekend retreat for inspiration and fun. Service projects include making pillowcase dresses for girls in Haiti, sending gifts of goodies for Valentine’s Day to Parkway’s college students, coordinating church-wide collection of shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, and supporting agencies such as the Piedmont Diaper Bank, Crisis Control Ministry, battered women’s shelters, Aids Care Service, Bethesda Center, and local nursing homes.
Youth at Grace House – The Junior and Senior Youth Connections meet at the church on Sunday nights at 5:30.
At Parkway Presbyterian we offer a wide variety of music programs including the Joyful Noise Children’s Choir, The Chancel Choir and The First Light Band. Want more information? Contact Cynthia Saylor, Director of Music Ministries, Church office, 765-5646, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org or even better, just introduce yourself to Cynthia in person before or after worship or during office hours!
We offer Sunday school classes for all age groups.
