Providing assistance to families and persons with emergency needs of rent, groceries, utility bills and drugs, our members volunteer as interviewers and helpers in the food pantry and pharmacy.
About Crisis Control Ministry
Crisis Control believes that anyone can experience a financial crisis. When it happens, they offer targeted short-term emergency assistance to solve their crisis, all the while treating these families with the respect and compassion they deserve.
Crisis Control Ministry was founded in 1973 by religious congregations in Winston-Salem to offer better coordinated financial assistance for people in need. As a faith-based organization, we extend God’s grace to the families we serve. Crisis Control Ministry is the largest emergency assistance provider in Forsyth County, and they served over 23,000 people in FY 2013.
